YouTube
The YouTube channel now boasts an average of 100,000 views per month, with most videos gaining over 10,000 views in their first week online.
Our views come from over 75,000 unique monthly viewers, including almost 100,000 subscribers, over 300 patrons, and a broad viewer demographic spanning four continents and all ages.
And that’s just so far.
Collaboration enquiries are always welcome, and I’m happy to discuss sponsorships and potential partnerships with any organisation that aligns with my channel’s philosophies of good research, honesty, integrity, and respect for history and humanity as a whole.
Historical Costuming
I have historical costuming experience spanning the 1st to 20th centuries. My primary period of interest is the early medieval, but I also make high medieval, Tudor, 17th-century, 18th-century, and Victorian clothing. My work is always based on period designs and patterns where available, and where not, on extant museum pieces and excavated examples. I made everything in this picture except the brooch.

Graveyard Archaeology
Alongside my work in historical costuming and living history, I am a qualified and experienced graveyard archaeology specialist, having worked in research and the field in the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales, England, Canada, and the United States.
I have experience teaching volunteers and students graveyard recording and conservation skills including GPS mapping, basic masonry repair, inscription recording, photography, and dealing with human remains.
I have presented at conferences and museums including the Cemetery Research Group symposium, the West Highland Museum, the Telford Society, and the National Museum of Scotland. I am available for a range of public talks, lectures, and events. Please feel free to send me an email!
Professional and Academic Affiliations
My current professional affiliations include the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, the Scottish Railway Preservation Society, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, and the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. But I’m always looking for more membership cards!

Theatre, Film & TV
I have a background in theatre, film, and the performing arts, and am equally at home on stage, on set, in front of a camera, or in the recording booth. My recent credits include some presenting for S4C, expert contributions to Discovery+, and fun self-shoots for BBC Cymru. If you’re interested in working with me, send me an email!
