Can you help me make my kit?

At the moment I’m doing too much to let me provide casual research or personal and tailored individual advice on re-enactment and living history impressions. Sorry!

Where do you get your info?

I’m a professional researcher by training and passion, so my videos take their source material, citations, and supporting materials from all over the place. I usually read well over a dozen articles and pieces of writing per video. Usually I try to keep my sources academically appropriate, peer-reviewed, and as well-supported as possible.

Do you take commissions?

I am an experienced freelance researcher, writer, and broadcast contributor. I am open to professional commissions, so if you are interested in hiring me and discussing rates, feel free to drop me an email. I’m not a professional costumier or tailor though so no, sorry, I don’t undertake commission costuming or sewing work.

Will you recommend kit suppliers?

I source my fabric, materials, and other historical items from suppliers I trust, often as close to home as possible for environmental reasons. As I don’t have experience of every seller out there (and there are hundreds!), and everyone’s circumstances are different, I can’t recommend suppliers .

Are you a Norse Pagan?

My spiritual alignment, sexuality, and a variety of other personal details do not appear anywhere in my work or on this site and are nobody’s business but mine. My work is about history: well-researched and nuanced, and that’s that. Sorry!

Will you appear on my podcast/videos/stream/show?
